With its characteristic tower, the Ćiastel de Tor Castle represents the history of more than 30,000 Dolomite Ladins whose common identity is expressed by two fundamental elements: their language, which originates from Vulgar Latin, and the unique mountainous landscape of the Dolomites. The museum, opened in 2001, presents entertaining insights into the history, language, culture, mythology, archaeology, geology, tourism and crafts of the Ladins. These are complemented by special exhibitions relating to Ladinia.
