At Wolfsthurn Castle visitors can glean cultural and historical information on hunting and wildlife as well as folk art relating to hunting and fishing. On the upper floor of the castle are the grand rooms with their original baroque furnishings. There is a special play area where children can learn about animal calls, tracks, and deer antlers and bear caves. A pleasant walkway from the village of Mareit to the castle passes through woods and along a waterway. The one-kilometre-long themed path winds through a fallow deer reserve and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
